Dual-Share-Class ETF Structures: Addressing the Gap Between Asset and Wealth Managers

The expected exemptive relief for dual-share-class products is an important evolution and will nudge the industry in the direction of offering more tax-efficient, lower-cost exposures. While asset managers perceive dual-share-class relief as an opportunity to launch ETF products that port a mutual fund's performance track record, wealth managers will need to work through the business and operational complexities involved in offering these products. Cerulli and Nicsa partnered to write a white paper on the implications of the potential approval of the dual-share-class structure. Join Cerulli and MMI to understand the impact of this critical industry shift as key stakeholders eagerly await SEC approval.

This presentation will address:

• The opportunities the dual-share-class structure brings for asset and wealth managers

• The challenges of dual-share-class products, including implementation, operational, and compliance burdens

• Early learnings and takeaways from the potential rollout of dual-share-class products
