Summary

To remain relevant in the future, asset management firms need to participate in asset allocation models by winning sleeves in other firms’ models or by offering their own models or suites of models to wealth managers.

On July 14, 2021, Cerulli’s Brendan Powers, CFA, associate director, joined by Bing Waldert, managing director, will discuss the factors influencing the rise of asset allocation models, exploring key innovation in product development and opportunities for expansion. Join for a strategic overview of the market and uncover new growth opportunities.

Key questions answered:

  • How are advisors accessing models and where do model providers foresee opportunities for future distribution?
  • How important are fees to advisors and how are model providers pricing model portfolios and their underlying investment products?
  • How are model providers using proprietary or nonproprietary investment products within their asset allocation models?
  • What are the next-phase model portfolio product development initiatives that firms are focused on?
