Build an Optimal Pricing Strategy for Your Investment Product Lineup
United States
Increased intermediation and heightened buying power many clients now wield have bolstered the collective bargaining abilities of financial advisors and institutions, allowing them to more aggressively pursue pricing concessions from asset managers through their skill and experience in fee negotiations.
Europe
Fee pressure remains persistent across Europe’s retirement industry. Fee compression—driven by the consolidation of pension funds and the number of mandates issued—is a very significant challenge when working with European pensions.
Asia Pacific
Regulatory initiatives, greater use of ETFs, and increased distribution of funds through digital platforms drive down costs for end investors in the region. Lower management fees were ranked as a top-three challenge by asset managers discussing terms and conditions with institutions.
