About Ty
Ty is a Senior Analyst in the Product Development practice at Cerulli, focusing on private markets. His role broadly includes assessing the opportunity for product line expansion, evaluating emerging product trends, assessing optimal pricing strategy, and understanding distribution and product positioning for investment products across retail and institutional channels. Relying on industry surveys and interviews with a wide variety of industry stakeholders, Ty seeks to deliver insights through Cerulli’s published research, consulting engagements, and presentations.
Prior to joining Cerulli Associates, Ty held cross-functional roles covering both institutional and wealth management domains at firms such as iCapital, Mesirow, Morningstar, and Zurich Capital Markets. He also managed a multi-strategy fund and started his career in global macro trading at J.P. Morgan Chase in Istanbul. Ty held Series 3, 7, and 24 certifications with FINRA, and contributed to Forbes Magazine from 2018 to 2025.
